Wedding Officiant Services
What Does a Wedding Officiant Do?
As a legally ordained wedding officiant, I have the honor of performing legally binding marriage ceremonies across the state. My role is more than just reading vows — I help guide couples through one of the most meaningful moments of their lives with clarity, warmth, and personalization.

My Responsibilities as Your Officiant:
-
Legally solemnize marriages under Illinois law
-
Draft and deliver a personalized ceremony (religious, spiritual, or civil)
-
Ensure the marriage license is properly signed and filed with the county clerk
-
Meet with the couple (virtually or in-person) to plan ceremony details
-
Offer guidance on vows, rituals, or ceremonial structure
-
Arrive early, coordinate with other vendors, and professionally officiate the event
How Services Can Be Provided:
-
In-person ceremonies at any venue (indoor, outdoor, courthouse, backyard)
-
Elopements or micro-weddings
-
Last-minute bookings (when another officiant cancels or is unavailable)
-
Rehearsals and ceremony walk-throughs (if requested)
-
Custom script writing and vow coaching
-
Travel available throughout Illinois (with mileage fee outside local area)
